A few clear answers

New to escrow?
Start here.

Short explanations, without assuming you already use crypto.

Read the escrow guide
What does escrow mean here?

Escrow means payment is set aside under agreed rules until a milestone is approved or a dispute is resolved. ValeDeFi's smart-contract version is planned and is not deployed yet.

Do I need a crypto wallet to browse?

No. You can browse the site without one. The wallet button can connect an injected browser wallet in read-only preview mode; signing, account authentication and payments are not enabled.

Which payment assets are planned?

The brief names USDC, USDT and ETH. Supported chains and token contracts must be confirmed before any testnet or mainnet deployment.

How are disputes handled?

The proposed process uses community-vetted, staked arbitrators and a transparent vote with a timelock. No arbitrators or live dispute process are active yet.
